It gives full details of every source that you cited in the text. Like the rest of an MLA format paper, the Works Cited should be left-aligned and double-spaced with 1-inch margins.

In MLA style, the works-cited page is double spaced, with the same spacing within and between citations. Format the works-cited list so that the second and subsequent lines of the citation are indented. Citations beginning with names and those beginning with titles are to be alphabetized together. Numbers in titles are treated as though they have been spelled out. For names, alphabetize based on the letters that come before the comma separating the last name from the first, and disregard any spaces or other punctuation in the last name. Ignore any special characters like with that might appear before a name or pseudonym.
